It's that time of year again. It's hot, it's disgusting, and water and sunscreen are your only friends during this trying month. It is a time of escapism -- escape from the heat and the harsh reality that we Tusconans have grown to know far too well during the summer months in Arizona.
That being said, it's not all that bad and there are ways to cope during these nightmarish days of blistering heat. One such strategy is watching Christmas movies and living vicariously through the characters as they plod through the snows and fall off their roofs while hanging Christmas decorations. We are going to do just that here at the Film Bar. Every Saturday this month we will be featuring a Christmas film to whisk us off into a reality that we can only dream of during 100+ degree days.
Tim Allen's the Santa Clause is the first in our line-up.
See you there!
